My goal is to make your day less stressful so you can enjoy yourself, and leave the memories to me and your photographer.
What I'm like on the day
Before your wedding I'll reach out to your photographer, and we'll work out between us how we're each covering the day. I've been filming alongside Windsor photographers for over ten years, so there's a decent chance I already know them. Two people who know what they're doing don't end up in each other's shots, and you shouldn't be able to feel us sorting it out.
During portraits I will give you direction, and I think that matters. Video isn't photography. Two people standing still and smiling at a lens makes a lovely photograph and a lifeless film. So instead of asking you to hold a pose, I'll give you something to do. Movement is what makes footage feel like something that happened rather than something that was arranged.
Why I do this
I started filming weddings because getting to share in a day this important matters to me. Couples let me into the parts of it that nobody performs for a camera, and those are the parts I care most about getting right.
